The Knights have U10 and U12 EJEPL teams.
The WBS Knights Mite divisions (U6 / U8) consist of U6 and U8 (white and blue) teams. The WBS Knights operate under USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM). The ADM is USA Hockey’s nationwide player-development program for youth hockey associations. It’s based on age-appropriate, age-specific competition and training for boys and girls, beginning with their first steps onto the ice and carrying them through age 18 and beyond. The ADM places a heightened emphasis on skill development and long-term athlete development principles, providing a blueprint for the best possible youth hockey experience. Put simply, it’s doing what’s best for kids.
The Revolution Select Hockey Program was formed to give young hockey players an opportunity to compete against, develop and play with the top teams and players in the world. The Revolution Selects is a short, intense hockey development program designed to enhance both offensive and defensive team play, taught in an age-appropriate manner by high level hockey coaches. The program emphasis will be to teach players positional responsibilities, proper reads and appropriate reactions in all three zones of the ice within a team framework. The Revolution Selects is an “invite only”
In order to better meet the needs of all girls/women interested in playing hockey, the WBS Jr Knights (in a partnership with King’s College Women’s Hockey NCAA III) joined the Mid-Atlantic Women’s Hockey Association (MAWHA). For the 2021 – 2022 season, the WBS Jr Knights are looking to field a U14 and a U12 team. The MAWHA has two Division Leagues: Tier I and Tier II Division with Tier II supporting two levels, “AA” and “A” (“AA” is National Bound and “A” is not National Bound). The MAWHA provides opportunities for the elite level players to develop the skills necessary to play at the college level.
