The WBS Jr Knights offer teams and development programs for players ages 5 through 18. Each age group is designed to support proper skill development, game understanding, and personal growth at the appropriate stage.

MITES (8U / 9U)

The Mites program focuses on introducing young players to the fundamentals of hockey in a fun and supportive environment. Players learn basic skating skills, puck control, and teamwork while developing confidence and a love for the game.

This level emphasizes development, enjoyment, and learning the foundations of hockey.

10U Team

The 10U team within the WBS Knights introduces young players to competitive hockey in a positive, development-focused environment. The emphasis is on skating, puck skills, basic team play, and building confidence through strong fundamentals.

Practices and games are used as learning tools to help players develop good habits, improve skills, and grow their love for the game as they prepare for the next level.

PEEWEE (12U)

The Peewee level focuses on advancing individual skills, hockey sense, and team systems. Practices and games are more structured, with increased emphasis on decision making, positioning, and competitive play.

Players continue refining core skills while learning game strategy, situational awareness, and disciplined team play, preparing them for the faster pace and higher demands of the next level.

BANTAM (14U)

The Bantam program prepares players for higher levels of competition. Athletes continue developing speed, strength, and game awareness while learning responsibility, leadership, and commitment to the team.

Practices emphasize advanced skill development, game strategy, and consistency, helping players compete at a higher pace while growing as disciplined and confident teammates.

16U & 18U

The 18U program is designed for players looking to compete at a high level while continuing their development. This level emphasizes advanced skills, conditioning, and preparation for future hockey opportunities.

Players focus on game strategy, leadership, and consistency, building the skills and mindset needed for college, junior, or elite-level hockey.
